Another Boring Day in Paradise

Today was a lot like several other beach days, simple and relaxing.  Last night, my dad had an ear infection and could not sleep.  Today, my parents walked into to Phi Phi Town for Dad to see an ear doctor and to download some things on the iPads.  On my iPad, they kindly downloaded two National Geographic Magazines and a world map.  I love the National Geographics (“Can We Fly?” and “Cleopatra”), and the world map is interesting.  I have looked at the National Geographics, and I find the pictures stunning.

While my parents were gone, I waited back at the bungalow, ate breakfast and completed some math.  The rest of my day was spent snorkeling off the beach looking for shells.

It was another nice, boring day in paradise, but the day after tomorrow will be more interesting.  We will take a ferry to another beach area on the mainland where we will participate in a scuba class.  I am not sure what the scuba will be like, or what we will do after the scuba class.  We might go see elephants, or we might go see temples.  However the rest of our Thailand chapter plays out, I am excited to get back in the travel flow!

Thank you for reading Rohan Geographic!

  1. Hi Rohan!
It sounds like you had a really fun day! I was looking in my bookshelf and I found "Stardust" by Neil Gaiman. I think you gave it to me a few Christmas's ago, but I don't think I ever got around to reading it. I started it last night, and I have to say, it is a really good book!

    Have fun!

    Love,

  4. He could probably do a pony tail now! He refuses to cut his hair after the cut I made him do just before the trip started!

Kalia, when you finish the book, you should watch the movie, Stardust. It's a family favorite! Glad you're enjoying the book!
