Sorry I have been gone for a couple days. I had neither electricity nor internet where I stayed. Friday we took a train to Passau to go to the birthday party of my dad's old friend, Sigi. The party was at a replica of an old Celtic village. The Celts were a tribal culture during Roman times. My parents were surprised to find out that the Celts were not just from Ireland. The village was really interesting. We got to sleep in straw beds and our house was made of wood! Sigi has 3 kids. There were actually 5 kids at the party, one was Sigi's niece, and the other was a friend of one of Sigi's kids.
Today we drove a rental car from Passau to Regensburg. Now I am staying at another one of my dad's friend's house. I am really tired from barely any sleep this weekend. I will explain more about our situation tomorrow.
Hi Rohan. I've been lovin' the posts and pics and have been trying to leave comments. I keep going in Google Circles, but I think I might FINALLY have it figured out. Old Dog, New Trick: Check! Now back to my virtual, vicarious around-the-world adventure... where are we going next?!?!?!

I am amused that you are fussing about not getting enough sleep. I remember very well when you hated to go to bed at night and were the first person up in the morning. I guess you are entering those teenage years.
I'm enjoying your blog and the pictures of places I haven't been. I did have a good trip last week visiting college friends in New York State.
